The Riff Rangers are all about delicious, musical fun!

Led by veteran Twin Cities guitarist/vocalist Dale Dahlquist, this vocal-centric quintet performs a wide variety of toe tappin’ genres on guitar, bass and drums. Rich 3-part vocals are standard fare thanks to featured vocalists Rhiannon Fiskradatz and Kristen Olsen Rodriguez.

Bassist Dik “His lowness” Hedlund (Bonnie Raitt, Al Jarreau, Chuck Berry, Doug Maynard, A Prairie Home Companion), and drummer Will Kemperman (University of St. Thomas & Hamline University faculty, percussionist for “Glensheen”, VocalEssence) create the rhythm fun.

Western swing, vintage folk & rock classics, Big Band swing, Chicago blues and a wee bit of Irish make up the diverse pallette of sounds that is The Riff Rangers. Hear delightful renditions of tunes by Bonnie Raitt, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys, Little Walter, Eric Clapton, Linda Ronstadt, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Cole Porter, The Beatles, Neil Young, John Prine, The Band, Frank Sinatra and The Mills Brothers to name a few.
