Kinda Kinky are a band exclusively devoted to the music of The Kinks. Mixing many hits like You Really Got Me, Lola, All Day & All Of The Night, Waterloo Sunset and Come Dancing with deeper album cuts takes the audience on a rockin’ journey back in time. Seasoned vets of the Twin Cities music scene from such past and present local faves as The Funseekers, Spectors, Lolo’s Ghost, Run Westy Run (among many others), these well respected men are one of the most disciplined, hard working acts in town. With over 130 Kinks songs in their repertoire, their annual holiday extravaganza often stretches to an incredible five hours. Fronted by the uncanny Ray Davies soundalike Dave Randall, along with his sparring partner Keith Patterson and the very formidable rhythm section of Steve Kent and Paul McFarland, they are a Minnesota musical treasure.
