Lowertown Guitar Festival "Como Lake Edition"

Once again Lowertown Guitar Festival returns to Como Lakeside Pavilion for another day filled with masterful examples of this beloved instrument! Stay tuned for more details! Workshops, multi stages and performers! About Lowertown Guitar Festival:

Founded in 2013, Lowertown Guitar Festival is a free, one-day festival, held on a Saturday in August somewhere in beautiful St. Paul. The Festival - with the support of St. Paul Cultural STAR - has been produced four times in Mears Park, with clinics, workshops and exhibitions hosted at McNally Smith College of Music. In 2016 the Festival took place at Seventh Place, to celebrate the opening of the Palace Theater. The Festival has showcased the world’s greatest guitarists (Robben Ford, Jim Campilongo, Rosie Flores, Marc Ribot, Guthrie Trapp, Greg Koch, and Murial Anderson, Sunny War) to the world’s greatest audiences, with the help of some of the world’s greatest partners and sponsors.

Cost: FREE
The directors of this year’s free Festival are making use of the numerous beautiful spaces the Spring Café at Como Lakeside Pavilion has to offer - with performers set near the Hamm's Waterfall, solo performers on a Dockside Stage for passers-by, a Floating Stage on Como Lake for an afternoon private set for LGF supporters as well as acts throughout the day on the Main Stage.
