Founded in 1987 by alumni of Gustavus Adolphus College, the Bend in the River Big Band is pleased to share the swinging sounds ofthe Big Band Era and beyond! Lead by our charismatic vocalist, Linnea Nelson-Marrin, and under the direction of Steve Truran, this 18-piece ensemble is dedicated to high energy, fantastic musicianship, and fun at every performance.
